Western Disturbances!!

Look it up and you will find nothing.... Instead search for it in some geographic media, and you will get a chart on why it rains in the eastern coast and central India in some particular months.

No, this effort is not on those lines. This one is about a few disturbances that i note in some of us due to a western influence.

Growing up has been an issue that has always left me dangling in thought in the middle of nowhere. I just couldnt find anything with growing up that was so fab! Inside, I still prefer to be a teenager! This could be a passing phase for all i know ...! But, it amazes me that a lot of other people think the same too.

I have grown up with a lot of those western disturbances ... i mean the cultural shocks...
Influences everyone...thats what i feel.....

Look at these statistics :

average age for marriage (us) 35
out here 20

career jumpstarts (us) 30s
out here nothing like that ... eng stays eng for life (enterpreunership killed?)

Here people seem to start early and end up small. Out there, ppl start late and end up with astronomical wealth.

What i am saying is that ppl out here in India are adopting a western lifestyle ... which elders call a 'western disturbance'.
I would prefer to call all those grumpy aged people "Geriatric Disturbance".

I am happier with Subway than Balasubramanians Idly Vada Shop.
I am better off with a pair of Wrangler, than show off my nuts with a see through 'khadar' !!

Dont know if this post would raise a lot of contempt against me !!
Anyways, I still stand for advancement by adopting things we should adopt!
Yet, I would strongly defend anything that is killing a tradition without any value add!
